Expand your knowledge of and skills in Special Educational Needs Coordination in our SENCO – Special Educational Needs Coordination Level 5 course. After completing this course you’ll acquire a deeper knowledge and skills in relation to the role of the SENCO.

Working with special needs children as a Teaching Assistant can be quite challenging. Therefore, this SENCO – Special Educational Needs Coordination Level 5 Course is designed to educate you about promoting the learning and personal development of children and young people, who are vulnerable to underachievement through group work and working with parents. Moreover, you’ll understand how to provide support to children and younger people with learning, behavioural or physical difficulties.

Whether you want to work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, or in a mainstream classroom, this SENCO – Special Educational Needs Coordination Level 5 Course will be ideal to obtain minimum eligibility to work one to one with an individual pupil, or with a group of children in a large classroom situation.

After successfully completing the MCQ assessment of this course, you will qualify for the CPD Certificate from Imperial Academy, as proof of your continued professional development. Certification is available in PDF format, at the cost of £9, or a hard copy can be sent to you via post, at the cost of £15.

This course is not regulated by Ofqual and is not an accredited qualification. Method of Assessment

To assess your learning, you have to complete the assignment questions provided at the end of the course. You have to score at least 60% to pass the exam and to qualify for Quality Licence Scheme endorsed and CPD accredited certificates. 

After submitting the assignment, our expert tutor will assess your assignment and will give you feedback on your performance.

After passing the assignment exam, you will be able to apply for a certificate.
